Turn Difficult Challenges into Beautiful Transformations
Life doesn’t always ask our permission before it changes us.
A relationship ends. A career no longer fits. Children grow up. Loss, illness, or an unexpected opportunity can quietly reshape the life you’ve known. Sometimes the rug is simply pulled out from under you. The ground you once stood on disappears, leaving you unsure of who you are or where to place your next step.
How could this happen when you’ve been so busy meeting everyone’s expectations, racking up achievements, and perfecting your performance? You’ve become what everyone needed you to be, and now everything has been thrown into doubt. You’re not even sure you trust yourself anymore.
The thing is, you’ve overcome difficult challenges before, and you know you’re capable of growth. You can sense there’s another layer of yourself waiting to emerge. You’re curious, self-aware, and willing to ask the difficult questions needed to uncover it.
You’re ready for lasting transformation—not another quick fix.
But What Does Transformation Look Like?
Think of a caterpillar becoming a butterfly.
Transformation asks you to let go of an identity that once served you. Before the butterfly emerges, the caterpillar becomes something that looks and feels like goo.
If you’re feeling like nothing but “goo” right now, you know it’s not a pleasant place to be.
When you’re navigating something unfamiliar, it’s natural to want to return to who you were. But resisting transformation can keep you stuck in that uncomfortable place. Moving forward means releasing the beliefs and identities you’ve carried because you thought you had to—not because they were ever true—and making room for the person you’ve always been beneath the stories.
This is tender work.
It involves self-awareness, grieving what has been lost, releasing what no longer serves you, and finding the courage to trust what’s unfolding. And it helps to understand that change follows a cycle.
I’ve been through this cycle several times myself, and I expect I’ll continue to move through it as I evolve into the fullest expression of the person I’m meant to be. At lest now I know what to expect.
One Story from My Own Journey
In my early 40's, I was at the “height of my career” in a small startup software company I had co-founded. I became so overwhelmed by the stress that, at one point, I cried for three days straight and decided I had to quit my job—leaving my family with virtually no income.
I was terrified.
I was afraid I’d lose my home, my husband, and the respect of the people who mattered to me. But something in me knew I couldn’t continue.
For a month or so, I wallowed in shame and fear. Meanwhile, my husband found a job, we cashed in some retirement funds, and we survived.
Then, while wandering through Barnes & Noble one day, "Loving What Is" by Byron Katie caught my eye. I bought it because I desperately wanted to stop fighting and fearing reality. The idea of loving what is sounded amazing. It turned out to be exactly what I needed.
The book helped me separate my circumstances from the thoughts and beliefs I had attached to them. Letting go of some long standing and deeply held beliefs allowed me to evolved. In the process, I didn’t lose my home. I didn’t lose my husband. I didn’t lose the people I feared disappointing. And eventually, I even returned to the company I had left.
“The circumstances hadn't been the real problem. My relationship with those circumstances had been.”
The Journey Got Easier
Over the years, books and podcasts continued to help me grow., But I began to evolve on a much grander scale once I started working with life coaches through Wayfinder Life Coach Training. It’s nearly impossible to see your own blind spots without someone else’s help—that’s why they’re called blind spots. 😊 Having a partner on the journey who brings tools, perspective, thoughtful questions, and compassionate support can help keep growth moving forward.
As a graduate of Wayfinder Life Coach Training, a member of the International Coaching Federation, and a coach with more than 100 hours of experience, that’s what I want to offer you.
I’ll hold a compassionate, judgement-free space where you can speak freely and know you’re being heard. I’ll provide exercises, tools, and thoughtful questions that, coupled with your willingness to look honestly within, will help uncover the thoughts and beliefs that have quietly shaped how you see yourself and the world around you.
As the stories you’ve mistaken for truth begin to fall away…
You’ll start to see your life from a different perspective.
You’ll begin to recognize that you have more choice than you thought.
From there, you can stop fighting yourself and begin to trust yourself instead.
You can experience greater peace and freedom, without constantly fearing that you’ll disappoint others.
And you can begin waking up excited about the life you’re intentionally creating.
Does it sound too good to be true?
This isn’t magic, although it may feel like it. It’s simple and logical.
-
It’s about learning to listen to the cues from your body so you can recognize when you’re aligned with what truly matters to you—and setting your goals accordingly.
-
It’s about identifying and releasing patterns of behavior and thinking that no longer serve you, so you can move away from fear and toward greater peace.
-
It’s about strengthening new neural pathways through intentional practice, creating new ways of thinking and responding that support lasting transformation.
Your Guided Journey
Your journey will be personalized to you, but we'll generally move through these six steps:

Through thoughtful inquiry, we'll uncover the beliefs, patterns, fears, and stories that may be keeping you from reaching those goals. Some obstacles may become visible only as the coaching process unfolds.
4. Begin Creating the Differences You’re Looking For
We'll use inquiry, vision work, and other tools to loosen those obstacles and bring your goals to life.
5. Practice New Ways of Thinking and Responding
